Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days runs on 6 and 7 October 2026: 48 hours of Prime-only discounts, and e-bikes plus cycling kit are always part of it.
The problem with a sale like this is knowing whether a deal is real. A "was £999, now £749" label tells you very little if the bike has sat at £749 for months. So rather than guess at prices nobody knows yet, this page records what each product actually cost on 26 September 2026, ten days before the event. When the deals go live, compare against these numbers, not against the crossed-out price.

The check that matters more than any discount
Sale events are where non-compliant e-bikes get pushed hardest. A 750W bike with a full throttle looks like more bike for less money, and the listing will rarely tell you that in the UK it is legally a motorcycle: registration, tax, insurance, a licence and a motorcycle helmet, and no cycle paths.
To be ridden as an ordinary bicycle, an e-bike needs a 250W continuous motor, assistance that cuts out at 15.5mph (25km/h), and working pedals. Any throttle must be walk-assist only, up to 6km/h. One example of why this matters. The cheapest discounted bike we track right now is the URLIFE 20in fat tyre e-bike, at £484.49 against a listed £569.99. It is 250W with a 25km/h cut-off, but a buyer reports a plug-in throttle supplied in the box, so we have kept it out of our road-legal list. A big discount on a bike you cannot legally ride on the road is not a deal.

What a good deal looks like on each
Fafrees Hailong One, £499. Already the cheapest genuinely EAPC-compliant bike we list: 250W, a 36V 13.5Ah removable battery, 21 Shimano gears and no throttle. Anything under £450 would be a strong price for a bike this well specified.
VARUN M27-1, £599. Up from £569 when we last checked in August, so a sale price back around £550 is simply a return to normal. The 624Wh battery is the largest of the bikes here, which is what makes it worth a look for longer rides.
HITWAY BK7S PRO, £899.99. The most commute-ready bike on the list, with lights, rack, mudguards and 21 gears fitted as standard. At this price, a 15 to 20% discount would make it a very easy recommendation.
ADO Air20S, £1,199. An 18.5kg folder with a carbon belt instead of a chain and no throttle at all. Folding e-bikes rarely see deep discounts, so anything under £1,000 would be worth acting on.
MOONCOOL trike, £1,599. Watch this one carefully. It sat at £1,359.99 in August, so a "deal" at £1,399 is barely below its recent normal price.
Accessories: prices on 26 September
These are the parts that make an e-bike usable every day, and they tend to see the deepest percentage cuts during Prime events.

Buy the lock first. If you only pick up one thing, make it the Kryptonite. It is Sold Secure Gold rated, and e-bikes are stolen far more often than ordinary bikes because they are worth more. At £46.99 it is already sensibly priced, so treat any cut as a bonus rather than waiting for one.
The GPUTEK pump and Lamicall bag are already discounted. Both show a "was" price today. If the Prime price only matches what they cost now, the discount you are seeing is not new.
The Bern Hudson is the helmet worth waiting for. It is one of very few UK helmets certified to NTA 8776, the Dutch speed-pedelec standard, as well as EN 1078, and it rarely drops much. Anything under £100 would be a good price.
How to shop the event without getting caught out
- Check the price history, not the badge. This page gives you one reference point. A free price tracker gives you months of them.
- Check who is selling. Several e-bikes are sold by third-party sellers rather than Amazon. That affects returns, and on a 25kg bike, returns matter.
- Check the listing's own spec, not the title. Search the page for "throttle", "W" and "km/h". If the motor is above 250W, or there is a full throttle, it is not a road-legal bike in the UK at any price.
- Allow for assembly. Most bikes here arrive 85 to 90% built. Budget an hour, or the cost of a bike shop setting it up.
