Complete e-bike rear hub conversion kit featuring a 2000W 52V motor with 27.5 inch wheel. Includes UKC1 LCD display, 45A three-mode sine wave controller, pedal assist sensor (PAS), WuXing brake levers, 20X whole twist throttle, controller box, and 7-speed freewheel. Battery not included, and it requires a 52V battery with a 50A+ protection board.
Important: this kit is not road legal in the UK. A UK electrically assisted pedal cycle (EAPC) is limited to a 250W continuous rated motor with assistance cutting out at 15.5mph. At 2000W, and with a twist throttle that drives the bike without pedalling, a bicycle fitted with this kit is no longer classed as a bicycle. It becomes a motorcycle or moped in law, which means it must be registered, taxed and insured, and it can only be ridden by someone holding the appropriate licence and wearing an approved motorcycle helmet. Your cycle insurance will not cover it.
This kit is therefore suited to private land use with the landowner's permission, or to a project bike that will be registered properly.
